About Scott
Pastor Scott Dunford serves as Lead Pastor of Western Hills Church, bringing over two decades of ministry experience across local church leadership, ministry training, and global missions. His vision blends hands-on pastoral care with a heart for reaching all nations with the Gospel.
Originally from Wisconsin — where his love for cheese and the Green Bay Packers runs deep — Scott and his family have made the Bay Area their home. He and his wife Tara have four children: Halee (married to Noah), Basil, Augustine, and Caedmon, and are proud grandparents to two precious grandchildren.
Beyond Western Hills, Scott is an active voice in the global missions community, regularly speaking and writing on mission and theology. He also co-hosts The Missions Podcast, a go-to resource for conversations on mission work and the Church's call to the world.
About Carl
Carl Conrad serves as Associate Pastor at Western Hills Church, where he is committed to supporting its ministry and caring for its people. With a heart for worship, discipleship, and teaching, he seeks to help others grow in their relationship with Christ and deepen their roots in God’s Word.
Carl brings years of experience in church ministry, particularly in worship leadership and music - leading congregations in worship, directing choirs, and supporting the life of the church through music and media. His passion is to see the church worship God faithfully and wholeheartedly.
He holds a Master of Divinity in Worship Leadership and has received extensive training in both theology and music. Carl is especially passionate about equipping others for ministry and fostering a church culture centered on Christ, community, and meaningful worship.
Carl and his wife, Sarah, are grateful to be part of the Western Hills Church community and are excited to serve and grow alongside it.
